David Jensen is a storyteller, innovator and entrepreneur. He has been at the forefront of media, design and technology for more than 20 years. Currently, David leads EY’s Innovation and Digital Strategy business and is a Partner of its Strategy practice. Working at the intersection of innovation and technology, his areas of expertise include growth strategies and implementation of digital, customer and information experiences across multiple industries. His current thought leadership is in the areas of innovation realized, experience design, advanced analytics, and social business enterprise; he builds and delivers programs in the areas of business, digital and marketing strategy, interactive media, CRM, e-commerce, broadband, interactive television, advance media platforms, mobile and social networking.
Jensen joined EY from Monitor Deloitte, where he led the company’s Total Experience practice. Prior to Deloitte, he was a part of IBM’s Global Business Services, where he led its Digital Transformation practice. Prior to IBM, he co-led Ericsson’s broadband services group, through the acquisition of his software company, Zetools. Jensen also led the Broadband and Digital Media practice at Razorfish, delivering projects for clients in the Media & Entertainment and Telecommunications industries. In the technology research world, he built interactive social networks and pioneered projects that connected community with artistic development for the J Paul Getty Trust.
