Request for Information: Call for Community Stakeholders to Inform the Grantmaking Strategy for The Sex/Health Alliance

The Sex/Health Alliance (the Alliance), spearheaded by The Center for HIV Law & Policy (CHLP), AIDS United (AU), and the Williams Institute, is a partnership aiming to support community-led, sustainable movement to end criminalization of consensual sex, race, sexual orientation, and gender identity in the United States.

The Alliance is in the planning stages for its first round of grantmaking; we anticipate mobilizing approximately $45,000 in cash grants, as well as technical assistance in the Mississippi Delta region (Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Louisiana) to advance decriminalization efforts at the state level.

To help the Alliance shape its grant-making strategy, the Alliance invites community stakeholders who are engaged in decriminalization efforts in the Delta to participate in a brief Request for Information.

Respondents to this request could inform a robust grant-making strategy including the number of awards available, goals and objectives for the grant(s), and the state(s) within the Delta that will be reached through our initial efforts.
