Advocacy In Action

Advocacy in Action prepares advocates for effective and safe engagement with members of Congress during AIDSWatch, emphasizing the power of personal storytelling to connect lived experiences to policy asks. It offers practical tips for planning meetings, responding in the moment, handling unexpected interactions, and maintaining emotional safety, while reinforcing the importance of follow-up and relationship-building with staffers.

Fall AIDSWatch

Thank you for joining us at Fall AIDSWatch: Transcending the Moment. This virtual mid-year convening, organized by the AIDSWatch planning partners, allows community members to gather to discuss the latest information on policies and conditions impacting our lives.  The partners discussed the current political landscape and what it means for people living with HIV and our allies. Then, talked about the new reality we need to face and what actions you can take to build momentum for the important work we’ll do next year at AIDSWatch 2026.
