New Opportunities for ASOs and Other HIV Providers to Participate in Medicaid

Learn about the new Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) preventive services policy and discover ways that AIDS service organizations (ASOs) and other HIV providers can contribute to the design and financing of Medicaid prevention services in your states.

In this webinar, participants will:

  • Get the basics about the CMS requirements for creating reimbursable preventive services delivered by Community Health Workers and the services that Medicaid can cover.
  • Discover ways to partner with consumer advocates, professional associations, and your state Medicaid program to design Sales and Purchase Agreements. Hear about the types of HIV primary and secondary prevention services that be integrated into a Medicaid preventive services delivery and payment system.
  • Learn how to strengthen collaborative efforts with clinicians, public health departments, other healthcare providers, and managed care plans to offer reimbursable HIV prevention services.

Webinar participants will receive information about key resources, and activities underway in their states, and will be asked to discuss their states’ Medicaid preventive services initiatives in their states.
